Student Sponsorship Ministry
Breaking the Cycle of Poverty Through Education
The Student Sponsorship Ministry’s goal is to alleviate the cycle of poverty by providing an opportunity for education through sponsorship. We believe poverty stems not from a lack of money but a lack of knowledge. Education transforms lives, breaking generational cycles.
You can help change a child’s future by sponsoring their education through YWAM Balut. Elementary costs $100/yr, high school $140/yr, senior high $340/yr, and college $600/yr. Currently, YWAM Balut sponsors over 400 children.
Family Ministry
Healing, Hope & Purpose for Families
The Family Ministry focuses on bringing healing, hope, and purpose to families in Smokey Mountain and other communities in Manila. Recognizing the family as the foundation of society, this ministry aims to influence families spiritually, starting with parents and extending to children.
4-14 Window
Nurturing Children Spiritually & Physically
The 4-14 Window program is dedicated to nurturing children spiritually and physically during their formative years. This initiative includes a weekly feeding program every Saturday, providing nourishment and care to young kids in the community.
The Arise Ministry
Empowering Young Professionals
The Arise Initiative focuses on empowering young professionals who have graduated from our Student Sponsorship Ministry to make a positive impact in their families, workplaces, and society. With a vision to influence the seven spheres of society, the initiative provides mentorship, spiritual growth, and practical support.
Discipleship Training School
Grow in Faith. Discover Your Calling.
Youth With A Mission (YWAM) offers the Discipleship Training School (DTS), a six-month program designed to help participants grow in their relationship with God and discover their calling. YWAM also hosts a Discipleship Training Week (DTW), a shorter event giving participants a glimpse of the DTS experience.
Evangelism, Prayer & Intercession
Reaching Out to Those in Need
YWAM-Balut is dedicated to interceding for the world and reaching out to those in need. The ministry conducts regular prayer and intercession throughout the week. It also provides mission exposure opportunities in the Philippines, including street evangelism and one-on-one discipleship.
Hospitality Ministry
Welcoming Mission Teams from Around the World
The Hospitality Ministry welcomes and hosts mission teams from around the world, providing a supportive environment to help them feel valued and cared for. By offering accommodation, logistical support, and a spirit of service, the ministry enables teams to focus on their outreach while building meaningful connections.
